A very young and vibrant team formed by Mohammed Khan and Varun Kumarasamy with the help of our enthusiastic staff are behind the successful operation of Monash Curry n Tandoor.
Our head Chef Mohammed has a great level of passion for Indian food which has been gathered thanks to 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry starting from a very young age. After completing his culinary studies in India he went on to work at Taj.
Then he migrated to Singapore and worked there as a head chef for 5 years. Then his culinary journey took him to our beloved city of Melbourne where he worked as a chef in Pan's Curry house and Mirch Masala Indian restaurant.
His passion led to his long time goal of opening his own restaurant and he teamed up with his friend Varun who has an Accounting background and Monash Curry n Tandoor was born.
